the gift of injury - reverse planks

I swear, everything has a reason and a season. Because of my back, im still not able to do any abdominal work. This being said, EXTENSION  movements are totally in scope. Enter a movement ive know about for years but never tried - the reverse plank.

I first read about this in convict conditioning. It is hailed as a way to train spinal erectors with calisthenics in a way that is safe and healing. I couldn't agree more. This, is the sauce my friends. I can say with absolute clarity that I will work on progressing this move as long as I live. No spinal loading and large progression possibility.
